African porcupine shed quills. Incredibly light weight and sharp, with beautiful black and chocolate patterns. Quills are modified hair that have a thick keratin coat, similar to a human nail. 
Sustainably and ethically sourced. Porcupines naturally shed their quills when in danger and even naturally to replace new ones. These quills have all fallen out naturally and have been collected. No porcupines were killed for their quills!
